Type F Thread Cutting Screws are designed to create new threads in existing holes. They are commonly used in applications in need of periodic maintenance involving wood, metal, or plastic. Thread cutting screws do not generate as much stress on material as thread-forming screws. Also included in Hillman assortment #1039 / label #76.
