Grade C All-Metal Stop Nuts are nuts with a crowned top that is crimped or tapered to create a locking feature. These nuts are hardened to a Grade C strength level, which is equivalent to 150,000 psi/min proof load strength. Grade C nuts are also recommended for use with A-325 structural bolts. Lock nuts provide excellent resistance to loosening in high vibration applications.
